Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle

(I know I’m supposed to be doing a part of my photo story but this kinda got top priority…)

How many of you are silently wishing for a Santa Claus free Christmas story?  One full of Christmas cheer, relatable experiences, and totally thrilling adventures?  Well, I’ve a suggestion of a book for you!

Sarah Maxwell has written this delightful story about young Moses Moody.  Okay, he’s not all that young.  Twelve-year-old Moses and his twin Melissa are the youngest of six children.  They are privileged to be homeschooled and enjoy the many benefits of that in Sunflower, Kansas.

For this book, it would be best if you had read the preceding ten books Sarah has written about the Moody family, but not all together necessary.  This book is more for an older range than the other ten, but that’s just my humble opinion.

Mr. Gibson, one of the Moody’s long time friends is facing a trial that has cut him to the quick of his soul.  During his fits of depression, Moses and his older brother, Mitch, work hard to cheer him up.  Until…

They find some more news that affects Mr. Gibson in a totally different way.  Together, the four younger Moody’s try to bring Christmas cheer to all around them.  And to show the love of Jesus, their Savior.

Filled with excitement, Christmas cheer, laughter, and a duck, Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle is the book you need this Christmas season.  It is also filled with beautiful sketches done by Sarah’s sister, Mary.

Whether you’re looking for a good Christmas gift, or just looking for a good read, this book is a must have for your Christmas collection.  You can find it here.

I hope you all check it out!  If you do, comment down below!

Merry Christmas!

      1. 70 Degrees??? That’s over twenty degrees hotter than here! And I live way south!!! You must be wearing short sleeves! I’m sorry for you, as it’s supposed to be cold and wintery.

    1. You better not do this book! How could you? You haven’t even read it! Oh, wait, maybe it’s The Christmas Quilt? Anyway, last night we watched, “The Von Trapp Family, a Life of Music”!!

  1. Oh no, it’s not this book. That that would be strange since I’ve never read it, and it’s not the Christmas Quilt. You’ll have to wait and see!

You watched it?!?!? That is one of my favorite movies!!! Did you like it? Please tell me you did.

    1. Oh! Now I’m really eager!

Yes!! It was AMAZING!! I LOVED it! Even though it wasn’t exactly historically accrete. It was so sad about Ziggy! He was my favorite character. And then Agathe’s younger brother’s ears! Oh, his ears!!! xD
